Louise Ramos has not received any gifts yet
LOUISE dabbles in print advertising, fashion directing, hosting and his first love, which is singing. Starting at the very young age of 10 as a church choir singer, he has also performed in weddings before becoming a lead vocalist of the band. Louie formed his own band during his college years in San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila.
With an AB degree in Mass Communications, he first ventured into the world of print media, fashion shows and special events. His love for music prevailed though, with singing engagements coming along the way. From his first band Public Eye in June 1998, things paved the way for a new group called Ordinary People in January 1999, which later evolved into XOP in September 2001. At present, Louie has remained the lead vocalist cum bandleader of XOP for 14 years already (September 2001 -2015).
Louie has a very unique way of getting the audience attention while performing on stage —he hooks them to his spiels and antics. He gives 100% total performance every time on center stage, as he render songs of James Ingram, Luther Vandross, George Michael, Kenny Loggins, Tom Jones, James Brown, Stevie Wonder and other well-known foreign and local artists.
As one of the lead vocalists of X.O.P., Louie already performed in Japan (2004), Singapore (2005), United States Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (2005), Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang, Malaysia (2008-2009), Howard Johnson Diplomat Hotel, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (December 2009 to August 2010) ; United States Marine Corp Community Services, Iwakuni Japan (November 2010 to January 2011), back in United States Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia (January 3 to July 8 2011), Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia (September to December 2011), Penang & Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (August 2012 to February 2013), Windsor Tower Kingdom of Bahrain (August to December 2013) and Hilton Hotel, Petaling Jaya Malaysia (August to December 2014)
One of his biggest achievements came in 2006, when XOP was able to perform in U.S.A. After being selected from the hundreds of Filipino bands who auditioned in the Philippines, his band XOP made its mark and was selected by Disney Cruise Line in Orlando, Florida. They were the first Filipino band that performed and take center stage in the cruise ship Disney Magic. It was a successful voyage across the sea as they entertained a lot of Americans and other international guests. Louie traveled also to Mexico, Caribbean, the Bahamas, St. Thomas, Key West, Los Angeles, New Jersey and different territories of U.S.A.
A gifted talent, an awesome performer, and a real total entertainer – that’s Louie for you!
