Suggestions regarding agents/talents coordinator/promotions/ as long as involved for sending musicians local or abroad

this is an appeal to all agents/ talents coordinator/ whose now a member of our community,
1. agents should only ask 15% commission to their artists/talents total gross income per month
depends on the lenght of the artist contract to the designated jobs

amendment;

actually wala pa tayong malinaw na batas tungkol sa usapin natin sa kumisyon ng agents / talents coordinator etc..eto po ay nasa sa pag uusap na lng ng both side kung magkano ang magiging kasunduan nila.ang gusto ko lng pong eemphasize dito eh. ganito.. kung isa satin ay agent o manager na meyembro na natin siguro naman eh kailangan na makiisa sa layunin na 15% lng ang pede nilang kunin na komisyon sa mga musiko na mabibigyan nila ng trabaho.at kung ang agent naman ay hinde meyembro ng pmn maari naman nilang sa labas gawin ang transakyon sa hinde nasasakupan ng pmn ,
sa akin pong paniniwala ang pagbabago ay nag uumpisa ating mga sarili ,,sa bawat isa satin, kung ang pananaw ng iba na ' di po possibleng makamit dito sa organisasyon ang layunin na ganito' eh yan po ay kanyang paniniwala at aking ginagalang.
nais ko pong ipabatid na itong paksa dito ay proposal pa lng at kung marami ang sasang -ayon bakit di natin subukan at kung hinde naman magtagumpay pede naman po tayong gumawa ng susunod na hakbang,

I agree with you Bro.10 to 15% is enought.for me I'm just getting 12% a month for the gross salary of the group.

Until now i still remember nung talent pa ako ni Kuya Boy, halos lahat libre, tirahan, pagkain, etc. hehehe...

From his Mother, to his wife & kids, pamilya ang turing nila sakin hindi lang ordinary na talent
(Yun po ang naramdaman at naranasan ko nung si Boy Alquero pa ang talent manager ko)

Pero yung naging pangalwang talent manager ko sa korea sobra sobra kung mangumisyon

She always make a move or any none sense reasons para lang magka penalty ang mga talent nya

Pero sa ngayon masuwerte parin po ako kasi mabait din naman ang manager ko at the present dito sa HK

hmmm.....napahaba na yata ang nobela ko, ahihihi....

once we have sufficient member who's favor in 15% [appx.]agents commission we will forwarded it to the our pmna body for approval .
many of our fellow musicians are violated their rights, they'll keep on working but their income is not sufficient because of too much commission that has taken from them,
infact not only commission, there is some incidents that i recalled.. some of our fellows find out another deduction from their salary has been taken off for some unexplainable reasons .[mostly it happens during salary day upon receiving payroll.]
Sad situations, but they need to swallow it even it is agaisnt their will, why ?? perhaps we all know the main reasons;FAMILY TO SUPPORT
It's time to change this old tactics i mean practice.
i understand what you mean bro.nangyari nasa akin yan when I'm still playing in the band way back 1967 in Flushing New york tinakbo ng agent namin 3 months salary. binalik kami sa Guam then sayonara na,asd a former musician I knew the situation of our fello musikero kanya I treated my musicians as a family of mine .don't worry bro.di mangyayari satin yun atsa POB ang sahod nila meaning PAY ON BOARD every 15 days,kanya talent din ang magpapadala ng komisyon ko if ever.

15% is enough ...Agree also with Sir Armin, dapat hanggang doon lang talaga ang commissions? kahit 50US per head lang comm. ko GO..ako basta happy ang budget ng mga tao ko..So far till now theyre still in the contract with the same venue for almost 3 years and I'm still getting 50USD per head pero 7 piece naman sila so malaking bagay na din yan!...hahaahaha! but everytime naman na mamasyal ka sa puesto nila..iba naman ang treatment nila very much welcome ka..etc...Di ba proud ka din?..So getting 15% commission I think is Fair enough..But before closing the deals or contract between talents and agents they should discuss all the respective details like budgets and privilleges..para palaging malinaw..Suggestion ko din sa mga Managers na always lay your cards on the deck..pakita nyo ang budget na nakasaad sa contract (tama ba ako??correct nyo din ako sir regarding dito ha?)...But mostly na nakikita ko na nangyayari karamihan sa mga Agency or Managers..the more they get more clients ..the more they become greedy...habang parami ng parami ang bookings nila naging gahaman naman sila..HINDE naman LAHAT ..But Managers and Artists should talk and discuss all contract details FIRST...And Agents or Managers kailangan ipaliwanag ang lahat ng detalye sa Artists pinakaimportante yung BUDGET at ACCOMMODATIONS at iba pang PRIVILLEGES...Pag limited lang yung mga PRIVILLEGES..ex: Housing accommodations,may Food Allowance ba?Day off,Laundry privilleges (kung nasa Hotel) 3 meals a day pag nasa Hotel..VISA..etc...kailangan sabihin sa talents kung limitado lang ang maibigay ng prospective clients,para walang sisihan bandang huli...I second the motion of 15% agents comm...Thanks Sir Armin for starting this issue..Keep in touch tyo Sir!!
tama ka Bro.lay down your card.derecta ako bro.Luxury liner kanya sila ang nakuha ng sahod nila POB sila ibig sabihin PAY ON BOARD at pagmay hindi clirado ang contract ni rereject ng POEA at U.S Embassy thankls God naman dahil malaking kumpanya sila kaya no problem naman at the same time malaki budget sa luxury from $2.000U.S. a month each up to $ 2.500 kanya yung mga managers like me ay naasa sa ipadadala nilang komisyon.sometimes may musikerong salbahe din di naman lahat pati yung para sa manager ay nagagastos pero ok lang baka nga 2 familia ay naloko na 1 lang pala ibig kong sabihin baka nag cacasino.thanks sa palala mo kapatid na musikero.

wow!. tama ka sa iyong mga nabangit ,kumbensing kami dito sa detalyadong paliwanag mo brother.. mabuhay ka! for sure mas uunlad at lalago pa ang iyong sinisimulan,
sa kagaya namin na walang agent/manager 8 years working in china..nag rerely lng din ako thru connections ng mga reliable source.then if ever na wala pa akong booking na makuha and somebody offer me a chance we are willing also to give the right commission.
so far everything bout our job is going smooth hope untill next year, although im quite worried now because of this global recessions due to global economic crises,let just hope and pray that everything should be back to normal so our job might not get affected.

In fairness to all agents/managers /
musicians who are not fufilling or neglecting their duties and responsibilities to their respective agents/ managers .should be subject for imbestigation,
appropriate penalty/fine/or any other consequences must be implemented accordingly.
